Scholarship Award: The University Entrance Scholarship program provides guaranteed renewable scholarships to high school students who present a minimum award average of 75%. Scholarships vary in value according to the applicant’s award average.

  • Entrance Requirements: To become eligible for University Entrance Scholarships, applicants must be:
  • Entering their first-year of post-secondary study directly from high school. Concordia will also consider applicants who have:
  • Taken time off between high school and post-secondary studies.
  • Completed university-level credits while in high school.
  • Attended a non-accredited program at a post-secondary institution and earned 9 or less transfer credits.
  • Applicants who enrolled in a post-secondary institution after the completion of high school are not eligible.
  • Enrolled in a degree program in Arts, Management or Science.
  • Registered in a minimum of 80% of a full course load (12 credits) in each semester. Recipients whose registration drops below the required 80% minimum will immediately forfeit their scholarship.

How to Apply:  
There is no separate application required.  Concordia identifies eligible students through the admission process, choosing from those who submit their admission Application Forms and final (interim) high school transcripts before April 1st.  Eligible scholarship recipients are sent a preliminary scholarship offer notification letter.

The Edith Cowan University is awarding Overseas Partner Scholarship who have completed a program at an articulated partner institution off-shore for the year 2019. Scholarships are available for International students.

The scholarship funds can only be used for tuition fees and cannot be use for any other student expenses.

Entrance Requirements: To be eligible for this scholarship you must:


  • have completed an eligible program at an articulated partner institution off-shore;
  • be commencing study at ECU in 2019 or 2020;
  • meet ECU’s academic direct admission requirements for the course of your choice;
  • not be in receipt of another scholarship or sponsorship;
  • be an International student, not an Australian Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident, or New Zealand Citizen;
  • intend to study an undergraduate degree; and
  • be studying at ECU Joondalup, ECU Mount Lawley, or ECU South West (Bunbury).

English Language Requirements: Applicants whose first language is not English are usually required to provide evidence of proficiency in English at the higher level required by the University.


Application Procedure

How to Apply: Students at ECU’s Off-shore articulation providers will be invited to apply for this scholarship.

Admissions Office will assess each application accordingly and issue a supplementary letter, along with a Letter of Offer, to confirm whether the applicant has been successful.

To accept the scholarship, the recipient must:


  1. Meet any conditions listed in their Letter of Offer;
  2. Have met admission requirements relevant to their chosen course of study;
  3. Accept their Letter of Offer as per the instructions provided;
  4. Pay the indicative deposit and OSHC indicated in their Letter of Offer; and
  5. Be aware of the dates and deadlines by which the above need to have been completed.
  6. The scholarship can be revoked if the dates and deadlines are not met.

Please note: The Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship may not be used in conjunction with any other Teesside University Scholarship or Staying-On bonus. Successful applicants may still receive the £500 discount for early payment of their fees.

English Language Requirements: To study at a British university, you need a high level of English to write academic essays and reports, listen to lectures and take notes, summarise academic texts, give academic presentations and take part in discussions and seminars.

The Newcastle University is awarding Vice-Chancellor’s Global Scholarships starting from September 2019 for the full duration of the degree programme. Applicants of all nationalities (assessed as international for fee purposes) are eligible to apply for the VCGS awards


Newcastle University (officially, the University of Newcastle upon Tyne) is a public research university in Newcastle upon Tyne in the North-East of England.

Students need a good level of English language to study at Newcastle University. English will be the main language you use socially and for study. If English is not their first language they will need to provide a recognised English language test or qualification.

The new 2019 University of Adelaide Global Citizens Scholarship is now available to pursue undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Scholarships are available for international students.


These scholarships provide a tuition fee waiver of the scholarship value for the duration indicated in the scholarship award letter for study at the University of Adelaide. The scholarships do not cover the costs of visas, Overseas Student Health Cover, travel, accommodation, living expenses, books and study materials or any other expenses associated with living in Adelaide or study at the University of Adelaide.

Eligibility for the Scholarship

Entrance Requirements: To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:

Have a University of Adelaide offers of admission (full offer or conditional offer) as a full-fee-paying international student;
Complete the acceptance process as outlined in your offer of admission before the Scholarship Closing date (see Scholarship Closing Dates below).

Note: Scholarship applicants who are eligible for more than one scholarship offered by the University of Adelaide will only be entitled to receive one scholarship (the highest value scholarship award that they are eligible for)

Exclusions

The following applicants are not eligible to receive these scholarships:

Current University of Adelaide students who are transferring from one program to another prior to successful completion of their program of study (internal transfers);

Students who are recipients of a scholarship covering tuition fees awarded by a recognised scholarship awarding bodies such as a government ministry or department;

Applicants for Masters by Research or PhD programs.
Applicants for certain programs; see the scholarship terms and conditions for a list of excluded degrees.
English Language Requirements: The University’s preferred accredited English language tests are:

IELTS (International English Language Testing System) – Academic Test
TOEFL– internet based and paper based
Pearson Test of English– Academic
CAE (Cambridge English: Advanced).

However, the University may accept other evidence of proficiency in English in individual cases.

The majority of language tests and qualifications that meet the University’s minimum English requirements have a validity of two years preceding the date of application.

Students without the required level of English will need to satisfactorily complete an intensive program of English language before being admitted to the University of Adelaide. The University can arrange an appropriate English language program, Academic English (PEP Pathway) in Adelaide at the University’s English Language Centre. The PEP Pathway provides an alternative entry pathway for prospective students who have received offers to the University of Adelaide conditional upon English proficiency. On successful completion of the PEP Pathway at the appropriate level, students are granted direct entry into the University.

Applicants may apply online by completing the 2019 University of Adelaide Global Citizens Scholarship form.

Applicants must have received an offer of admission from the University before lodging their scholarship application (applicants with a conditional offer may apply, but will need to accept and meet the conditions of their offer before a scholarship can be confirmed)

Scholarship recipients will be notified by email within two weeks of finalising their acceptance process.
Note: Scholarship applicants who submit incomplete and/or inaccurate scholarship applications will not be eligible to receive a scholarship.
